Defective / Incomplete Application Forms in Any Respect will be Summarily Rejected
- INTIMATION REGARDING CENTRE OF EXAMINATION
The candidates will not get individual intimation regarding the commencement of examination and Centre of Examinations. These will be notified before the commencement of the Examination in leading dailies.
- CANDIDATES MUST PRODUCE HALL TICKETS BEFORE THE CHIEF SUPERINTENDENTS OF RESPECTIVE CENTRES AT WHICH THEY ARE TO BE APPEARED FOR EXAMINATION.
- Students now studying in the I year, II year or III year in the correspondence course should send their examination application to the DIRECTOR, DDE, MADURAI KAMARAJ UNIVERSITY, MADURAI - 625 021.
Student now studying in the I year, II year or III year in the Evening College should submit their examination application to the Director Co-Ordinator, EVENING COLLEGE.
All other private candidate (those have completed their study in the D.D.E. and Evening College) including bonafide teacher, and Defence Service Personal should send their examination applications attested by a Gazetted Officer, to the CONTROLLER OF EXAMINATIONS, MADURAI KAMARAJ UNIVERSITY, MADURAI - 625 021.
- Examination Fees:
For each paper : Rs.45/-, For General Knowledge : Rs.45/-, Cost of Application Form : Rs.15/-, Cost of Computerised Mark Sheet : Rs.25/-, Provisional Certificate Fee : Rs.110/-
Postal Charge : Rs.20/-
For each Practical - Rs.65/- (For B.C.A. and B.Sc. Computer Science)
(Candidate who appears for III year paper the first time must pay Provisional Certificate fee along with examination fees)
Application without details of Centre Name and Code Number will summarily be rejected.

In regard to the fixation of outside centers the candidates are informed that those centers are fixed subject to the availability of accommodation and the centers may be shifted to another place if sufficient accommodation or sufficient number of candidates are not available in a center.
Bonafide Teacher, Bonafide Librarian and Bonafide Defence Service Personal must select a center within the University area only.
EXAMINATION FEE SHOULD NOT BE PAID ON D.D.E. ACCOUNT
- Fees Should be remitted into the State Bank of India in Madurai Kamaraj University Account No.1 and the Bank Chalan should be enclosed with the application.
a)The State Bank of India Madurai and its branches in southern Region (ie) in the State of TAMILNADU, KARNATAKA, ANDHRA PRADHESH, KERALA and PONDICHERRY will accept the remittance of fees relating to University Account No.1
b)Money Orders, Cheques, Treasury Chalans and Postal Orders WILL NOT BE accepted under any circumstances.
c)THE FEE ONCE PAID WILL IN NO CIRCUMSTANCES BE REFUNDED OR HELD OVER FOR SUBSEQUENT EXAMINATIONS.
- Candidates who were not permitted for the whole Examination Previously should now forwarding their applications through DDE/Evening College where they underwent the courses along with a certificate.
- Special Instructions with Regard to Photos:
a)One copy of photograph should be pasted in the space marked in the application Form and the other to be pasted in the space marked in the identification Certificate.
b)The candidate should sign his / her full signature along the top margin of each of the photocopies. The signature on the photo copies should confirm in every detail to the signature at the bottom of the application.
c)The photo pasted on the application and on the identification certificate should be the same.
d)Each copy of the candidate's photograph should be attested by the following persons only. Gazetted Officers or Central of State Principals of college affiliated to this University or Principals of Oriental Title Colleges, principal of Matriculation School. Headmaster of Government recognized Higher Secondary Schools in the State Military commissioned officers. Members of Syndicate, Senate, Academic council and Board of the Studies of Madurai Kamaraj University.
- THE OFFICER WHO SIGNED THE PHOTOGRAPH SHOULD ALSO CERTIFY IN SPACE PROVIDED FOR THE PURPOSE IN THE APPLICATION FORM TO HIS PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE OF CANDIDATE.
- SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BONAFIDE TEACHERS, LIBRARIANS, DEFENCE, SERVICE PERSONNEL AND PULAVAR TITLE HOLDERS.
a)The above candidates who have appeared for the first year of the B.A.Degree Non-Semesters Examination should send their original exemption order and the second and third year candidates should send their Xerox copy.
b)They should clearly state the exact optional paper under part - III
c)They are eligible to appear for the second year of the B.A. Degree Examination after a lapse of one year subsequent to appear for the second year examination
- a) Particulars such as Names : Centre of examination etc, furnished by the candidates in their examination applications when they first apply / appear for any examination are feed into computer and become record subsequent appearance other than the one selected for the first time, the computer rejects results processing and hence the mark statements do not reflect the marks. Therefore the candidate when applying / appearing for the second time, third etc, should appear only at the center where they first when applied / appeared. Any request for release of results form candidates who appear at a different center other than one previously selected when they first applied, appeared will not be entertained.
b) Candidates will be registered for the examination only for the subjects which they have mentioned in their examination forms even though they have paid the examination fees. Candidates request for the results for any paper which they did not mention in their application form but which he appeared for on their own accord will not be entertained on any ground.
- SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATE:
The candidates are informed that any dispute between the University and the candidate arriving all respect of the examinations to be held will have to be resolved / decided only through the Courts, Forums, Tribunal located in Madurai wherein their University is situated and on other Court, Forum or Tribunal will have any jurisdiction to decide between the University and the candidate, irrespective of the fact that the cause of action arises with in other courts jurisdiction.
- The subject codes details may be seen in the Prospectus of the D.D.E. Application.
The combined papers are to be written separately in the columns.
Example: For I year English papers 3A2 , the candidate must write both 3A1 and 3A2 provided in application form. For AC2 in B.Com. both AC1 and AC2 must written
Note: For third year History Major candidates, Separate passing minimum marks for the subject codes HS1, HS2, HS3, HS4 were implemeneted from Nov. 2000 exam onwards. That is maximum marks is 100 and passing minimum marks is 35.
- The Candidates are strictly instructed to send the filled application form along with the examination fees within the stipulated time specified by the University. Otherwise examination application will be rejected.
