h) Examination fees are to be remitted in any one of the branches of the State Bank of India into Madurai Kamaraj University Account No.1. If the SBI Branch is not located in Candidate's area, a Demand Draft on any scheduled Bank payable at Madurai drawn in favour of the Registrar, Madurai Kamaraj University, will be accepted
i) Money Orders, Cheques, Treasury Chalans and Postal Orders WILL NOT BE accepted under any circumstances.
j) The fees once paid will not be refunded or adjusted for subsequent examinations
k) CANDIDATES APPLYING FOR THE FIRST TIME EITHER FOR FIRST YEAR OR SECOND YEAR SHALL PAY THE FEES PRESCRIBED FOR ALL THE PAPERS (IRRESPECTIVE OF THE NUMBER OF PAPERS THEY WISH TO APPEAR)
l) Candidates will be permitted to appear paper-wise at subsequent examinations only.

CENTRE OF EXAMINATION
a) Only one centre should be selected. Change of Centre will be granted under special circumstances by remitting a sum of Rs.750/-

Note: The Centres outside the University area fixed subject to the availability of accommodation and these centres may be shifted to another place if sufficient accommodation of candidates are not available in a Centre.
Candidates will not get individual intimation regarding the Examination Centre. The Examinatin Centre will be notified in leading dailies SEVEN DAYS before the commencement of the examination.

HALL TICKET
Hall Tickets along with Time Tables will be sent directly to the candidates by post.

INSTRUCTIONS TO PRIVATE / BONAFIDE TEACHERS EXEMPTED CANDIDATES
1) The Private and Bonafide Teacher exempted category candidates should send their filled in applications to the Controller of Examinations, Mdaurai Kamaraj University, Madruai 625 021.
2) Other Instructions are the same as given for the Directorate of Distance Education Candidates.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS WITH REGARD TO PHOTOGRAPH
1) One copy of the photograph should be pasted in the space provided in the application form and the other should be pasted in the space provided in the identification certificate attached with this application. These two copies should be identical.
2) The candidate should sign his/her signature along the top margin of the photocopy. The signature on the photocopies should confirm in every detail to the signature in the application.
3) Each copy of the candidate's photograph should be attested by the following persons only.

Gazetted Officers - Centre or State, Principals of colleges affiliated to this University or Principals of Oriental Title Colleges, Principals of Matriculations Schools, Headmaster/Headmistress of Government recognized Higher Secondary Schools in this State, Ministry Commissioned Officers; Members of the Syndicate, the Senate, the Academic Council and the Boards of Studies of the Madurai Kamaraj University.The Officer who has signed the photographs should also certify in the space provided for this purpose in the application form, to this personal knowledge of the candidate.
